TODAY!! Arya Samaj Chicagoland Mahasammelan 2016! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO Dr. SONI | Starts Today at 9:45 AM | 700 Hillview Avenue, West Chicago, IL 60185

Thank you all for a wonderful start to the Mahasammelan with our welcome dinner and musical bhajans tonight!  We heard from amazing artistes from the Chicagoland area and India for a wonderful bhakti-filled evening:

Padmini Rao, vocalist, Chicago
Charu Swaminathan, vocalist, Chicago
Lalit Sawhney from Mumbai, India
and our very own Arya Samaj long-standing member Asha Oroskarji.
It was an enchanting evening ending with a peaceful sandhya lead by our esteemed international scholars and guests:
Brahman: Dr. Somdev Shastri, Mumbai, India
Chief Guest: Swami Pranavanandji, Gurukul Gautam Nagar, New Delhi, India,
Guest of Honor:  Dharam Pal Shastri ji from Meerut, India.
We invite you all to attend tomorrow and Sunday for the main events!
Program is as follows: 
Saturday, July 23rd & Sunday July 24th at 10 AM
The Mahasammelan will begin with the flag hoisting ceremony and national anthems at 9:45 AM on Saturday morning!

Mahayajnya for All will be held on both days from 10-11 AM.

Saturday we will have a special mantra recitation for Dr. Sukhdev Soni’s 82nd birthday.

Special Talk on Vedic Life by Dr. Somdev Shastri, Mumbai, India and guests Swami Pranavanandji, Gurukul Gautam Nagar, & Dharam Pal Shastri

We will also honor few members of the Arya Samaj for their long-standing service, commitment and dedication.

The program  on both days will be followed by Bhajans, Arti and a special lunch.

Arya Samaj of Chicagoland welcomed over 150 guests this evening to kick off the three day Arya Samaj Mahasammelan 2016.  We welcomed also young kids from the Chand family and others tonight. 

We welcome all members,  families and friends to the Mahasammelan 2016.

Bring your loved ones for a peaceful gathering on our oldest principles of Hinduism – the Vedas.
